Tasha consulted with us in remodeling our very very old kitchen in spring and summer 2024. We had a vision for an historically inspired design (our house was built in 1942), but we were struggling to figure out how to realize that vision through layout and choices of materials (counters, tile, cabinets, hood cover, etc.). Tasha worked closely with us, as we iterated through various options, and she was always available, through calls, texts, and in-person meetings, to help us identify the bright ideas, dispose of the bad ideas, and manage our own craziness. (The best designers, we concluded, are a lot like therapists.) Her diligence and persistence ultimately converged in a cohesive and inspired design that brought our original sketchy vision fully to life. Subsequently, Tasha worked seamlessly with our contractor, and coordinated efficiently with other suppliers (troubleshooting as needed). The result - which we know must sound unbelievable to anyone who has ever remodeled a kitchen - was essentially a pain-free process. Our new kitchen is beautiful, unique, and highly functional.
